Sayama Kota, pianist Born in Tokyo. Pisces, blood type B. He started learning classical piano at the age of 6, and began studying jazz on his own when he was in high school, but he didn't understand the theory at all. After graduating from high school, he entered Berklee Music School to study jazz/popular music theory. He returned to Japan in 2004 and began his professional career, releasing his own album "Ryuu-ryu" under Miminoko Productions in 2010. This album is a starting point, filled with skepticism about the requirements for music to be established as generally defined and an interest in ethnic music as a refutation. While he likes experimental music, he is also well-known as an accompanist, and is highly trusted by many singers, including Yuki Saori, Circus, May J., and Maeno Kenta. In recent years, he has also been actively composing, such as providing music for the stage of the theater company "Rappaya" organized by playwright and screenwriter Suzuki Satoshi, and providing songs for new singers. He has also participated in many musical plays and musicals, such as "On Your Shining Night" (Suzuki Satoshi), "The World is Alone" (Iwai Hideto), "Flimmun Sisters" (Matsuo Suzuki), and "Musical Men" (Iwai Hideto).
